The Institution of Homoeopaths Kerala is the one and only organization of all categories of qualified Homoeopaths of Kerala, which included private practitioners, Govt. Medical Officers, Homoeopathic Medical College teachers, research officers (under Govt. of INDIA ISM &H) & ESI Medical officers. The organization established in the year 1987 under the leadership of Dr.Ravi M Nair, the then Principal of Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram & Dr.C.J.Varghese, the Ex-Member of Central Council of homoeopathy. IHK registered under Travancore Cochin literary & Charitable Societies Act XII of 1955 in the year 1987. Registered office of IHK is Hahnemann's Clinic, Thiruvananthapuram - 23, Kerala, S.INDIA.

TheInstitution of Homoeopaths Kerala was formulated in the year 1987 with a single unit at Kollam ,is now having 52 units all over Kerala .IHK is the one and only organization, which represents all the categories of institutionally qualified doctors of the homoeopathic fraternity in Kerala.

We have a publication called IHK NEWS, which is the mouthpiece of IHK.We also have a Trust registered under Charitable Societies Act named IHK TRUST.

Achievements

We have successfully organized

. 57 State Scientific Seminars.
. 18 Annual Conventions.

We are also organizing

. District Seminars in all districts regularly.
. Unit level classes regularly every month in all units.

We are conducting

. Free Medical camps
. Preventive camps
. Awareness classes

We are regularly organizing

. Leadership Training Camps for leaders.
. Trainers Training programmes every year.
( Therefore we have a good team of trainers to organize CHME programmes.)

. We successfully organized the Homoeopathic Bicentenary celebrations from 1990 to 1996
. We are the only professional organisation in Kerala, other than IMA, Having it's own Head Quarters Building.
. We have two members in the Central Council of Homoeopathy, one elected and one nominated.

Aims and Objectives

To organize CHME programmes regularly.
To standardize the Homoeopathic Medical system.
To standardize the Homoeopathic Practitioners.
To eradicate quackery in Homoeopathy.
To take steps for implementing Medical Practitioners bill.
